Timothy H. Trout is Managing Director of Missouri Professionals Mutual (MPM). He has nearly 30 years of direct experience in providing professional liability insurance solutions to medical professionals. Trout founded MPM in 2003 and has led MPM’s growth to become the largest and strongest member-directed medical malpractice insurance firm serving physicians in the state of Missouri.

Tim is passionate about re-empowering physicians and other medical professionals to ensure quality medical care for Missouri citizens. He is a frequent speaker at the annual Crittenden Medical Insurance Conference and a recognized expert in cost effective professional liability insurance.

Dr. John M. Lorei was elected to the Missouri Professionals Mutual Board of Directors in 2005. His perspectives as a physician inform and improve board decision-making.

Dr. Lorei chairs the emergency services department and is an active staff member at Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City and Saint Luke's Northland Hospital, Kansas City. In 2004, he was president of Saint Luke's Northland Hospital medical staff.

Dr. Lorei is a frequent writer and lecturer on emergency medicine topics and is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Richard T. Meyer, CPA, joined the Missouri Professionals Mutual Board of Directors in 2004. Since 1975, Meyer has worked in the fields of accounting, finance and insurance.

He is currently Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for a major national contractor. Formerly with Price Waterhouse & Co., Meyer often lectures about cost management and is an expert in the field of construction claims.
